PennDOT Employee 'Intentionally' Struck In Hit-Run: Police

A Pennsylvania department of transportation employee suffered serious injuries after they were "intentionally" struck by a pickup truck on Wednesday, April 13, police say.

Silver Spring Township Police are searching for the driver of the gold pickup truck pictured that struck the employee Rich Valley Road near Sherwood Drive at 10:50 a.m., according to a release by the department.

The road was briefly closed due to the incident, dispatchers say.

The employee's injuries are considered non-life threatening, according to the police.

The police have not clarified why they think the strike was intentional.
